They offer flavours that are seen as traditionally Mexican, as Chef Harry Jones “spent time living and cooking in Mexico City and Guadalajara,” bringing the authentic flavours back to Spark in York.

His team used to work at Holy Mountain Kitchen before reinventing themselves to serve Mexican food, from the 20th of May in the famous Spark York.

The five flavour variations will appear in classic Mexican food such as tacos, burritos, and nachos and will be served as the roof of Spark is removed for summer.

Dogs Nose Vegan Burritos left Spark to leave an opening for Deadly Venoms Burritos to move in. The concept of the deadly venoms was inspired by the kung fu film five deadly venoms.

The food is traditional apart from the brunch burrito that includes cheese, hash browns, eggs, and smoked bacon.

The five flavours inspired by the movie involve:

Scorpion style, which is beef shin, Mexican beer, chipotle peppers, onions and “secret stuff”.

The centipede includes grilled halloumi, agave, white cabbage slaw, picked chillies, and chipotle ketchup dip.

The lizard style is like a breakfast burrito packed with cheese, crispy potatoes, smoked bacon, and a gooey egg. They also provide the final two flavours toad and snake.
