The Old Team Room

Tony Vickers and his partner Thomas Bojaczuk opened The Old York Tea Room on 72 Goodramgate, in a transformation process that took months. Born of Botanics relocated to Stonegate to make room for The Old Team room to move in.

Both combined have 20 years of hospitality and retail management experience. The Old York Tea Room is inclusive and is welcoming to all including dogs who are accommodated for.
​
The church and the LGBTQ+ community are supporting them and their team room, and the window is beautifully displayed with it stocked with pastries, cakes, and brownies.
Their creations include Rocky Road and Lotus Biscoff baked cheesecake, and all the cakes and cheesecakes are made both at home and on-site by Tony and Thomas.

The tearoom has a range of teas such as Assam Panittola, Very Berry Burst, Liquorice, and Mint, as well as coffees, hot chocolate, and cold drinks too.
​
The Old York Tea Room also provides classic breakfast and lunches including scrambled eggs on bacon bap, cream tea sandwiches, and paninis from jacket potatoes and quiche of the day.
The Old York Tea Room is open from Wednesday to Sunday, 9 am to 5 pm.
